In the pictures some official LC2s made by PubbliMais at the time of the races
Mais Vinicio at the time of racing worked on behalf of the Abarth to develop the Martini livery on the back of the car (enlarged version) and painted some specimens of official cars that raced in the World Championships cat. Sports Prototypes.
There are several graphic versions of the same car with Martini Racing livery and the first specimens were prepared by Pubbli Auto, while the new cars enlarged with the new graphics (Martini band that started from the roof up to the base of the rear wing) were made by PubbliMais .
The graphics on the car were made in paint for the Martini livery. This decoration also covered the car's irregular and protruding grilles and details down to the smallest detail. The technical sponsors were adhesive decals. .
HOW WE MAKE IT TODAY
The realization of the complete graphics requires the delivery of the car at our headquarters in Turin (Italy) and can be performed in the following way:
Martini Livery completely in paint like the original with the same coded colors and the painting methods of the time that give an additional value of authenticity to the car. The tracing of the liveries will not be made with computerized masks but through a manual processing process, tracing by hand with the tapes all the graphic elements for an aesthetic result that is not artificial and not replicable but with an artisanal flavor: each graphic reproduction will be unique. The yield of the painted surfaces will also take into account the historical period therefore modern super glossy finishes will not be used if not present at the time.
Stickers of the original Lancia, Martini logos and technical sponsors logos, made with high quality conformable vinyls, applied with hot method for a very long duration. Possibility to run them in "vintage" mode for an effect that recalls the screen printing and the historical stickers.
The measurements and positioning of the liveries and stickers are very accurate and come from our archives obtained from the work on the cars of the time.

A BIT OF HISTORY ...
The Lancia LC2 was born to replace the Lancia LC1 in the Sport prototypes category and to battle the Porsche that dominated the category.
Designed by Dallara, it was a car with a closed passenger compartment and made its debut at the 1000 Km of Monza in 1983 with Martini Racing colors.
Guided for 3 seasons by almost exclusively Italian drivers (Alboreto, Alessandro Fabi. Baldi and Ginzani), it turned out to be a very fast car but with not exceptional reliability. Thus he only won 3 world races but still today he is in the heart of thousands of fans as evidenced by the numerous books, articles and models on the market that pay homage to this machine. After the 1985 season, the Lancia withdrew the car to focus exclusively on the rallies.
