FIAT 131 ABARTH OLIO FIAT
Fiat 131 Abarth Olio Fiat Gr. 4 graphics (1976).
The complete restoration of the graphics of this car includes the execution of the yellow and blue Olio Fiat livery and all the writings and logos present on the original car.
Curiosity
Fiat entrusted the supervision of the creation of the original graphics for this car to Mais Vinicio, who was responsible for producing all the adhesive silkscreen prints and gave instructions for the paint job of the yellow and blue parts of the livery, also providing the final colours.
Paint processing
The yellow Fiat Abarth VS Olio livery will be entirely painted like the original, with the same coded colors and painting methods of the time, further enhancing the car's authenticity. The yellow Fiat Olio logos, the yellow 131 Mirafiori Fiat Abarth lettering on the rear spoiler, and the white Fiat Abarth lettering on the front hood will also be painted like the originals.
The rendering of the painted surfaces will take into account the historical period, therefore modern super glossy finishes will not be used where not present at the time.
The technical sponsors, brands, and logos ( Cinzano, Olio Fiat, Pirelli, Magneti Marelli, original Olio Fiat spare parts, etc.) will be made of the highest-quality cast adhesive—with a protective lamination that protects against atmospheric agents and abrasion—to faithfully replicate the dimensions and colors of the originals. They can also be printed in "vintage" mode for an effect reminiscent of screen printing and historic stickers. Even stickers that originally had a transparent background will be faithfully replicated.
Adhesive processing
Starting from a blue base, all the graphics will be done entirely in adhesive, both for the technical sponsors and for the yellow Olio Fiat livery on the roof, wheel arches, spoiler and bumper , creating an accurate replica of the painted version.
For the Fiat Olio decal livery, we use high-quality, conformable cast vinyl, applied using a heat-curved method for long-lasting durability. This allows for application to all curved body parts, grilles, and air vents. If the vehicle is sold, the decal can be completely removed without damaging the original car body.
