Historical Archive
In the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, Pubblimais created the graphics for a huge number of official racing cars from the most important historic car manufacturers, including Abarth, Lancia, Fiat, as well as Cisitalia, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Osella Squadra Corse, Chevrolet, and Ligier. The cars, designed by Pubbli Mais Torino, participated in the most important motorsport competitions of all disciplines of the era: the World Rally Championship, Gran Turismo, Sports Prototypes, the Italian Superturismo Championship, DTM, and even Formula 1, the Can-An Series, and the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally. In the rally sector, Pubblimais's rally work boasts a prestigious record, spanning almost twenty years, from the early 1970s to the very early 1990s. In the 1970s and 1980s, Pubblimais collaborated several times with the GRUPPO FIAT, working on assistance vans and the Fiat 131, Ritmo, and Uno Turbo cars. But it was in the second half of the 1980s that Pubblimais rightfully entered the history of Italian rallying, having developed, on behalf of ABARTH, the official MARTINI RACING liveries for Lancia cars competing in the World Rally Championships, from the Lancia Delta 4WD to the 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale 16v. Pubblimais also decorated the liveries of prestigious satellite teams such as Grifone and Jolly Club, which competed in the World, European, and Italian Championships. The extraordinary collaboration that began in 1975 between Pubblimais and the historic magazine Gente Motori deserves a separate chapter, and we're dedicating a separate chapter to it.
