Ford Escort Martini WRC 1998 graphics
The complete restoration of the graphics of this car includes the execution of the Martini livery and all the writings and logos present on the original car.
Curiosity
Pubblimais recently restored the original Martini graphics on the historic ex-official car driven by Cunico and Pirollo.
Paint processing
The Martini livery will be completely painted like the original, with the same coded colors and painting methods of the time which give an additional value of authenticity to the car.
The livery will not be traced onto the bodywork using computerized templates, but rather through a manual process, hand-tracing all the graphic elements with tape for a non-artificial and non-replicable aesthetic result with a handcrafted feel: each graphic reproduction will be unique. The Martini paintwork will be completed with a final gloss clear coat.
The technical sponsors, brands and logos ( Ford, Speedline, Escort, Martini, Brembo, Ferodo, Trw Sabelt, Champion, Secur Pneu, Pirelli, Totip, Wladoil, Jolly Club, Sparco , etc.) will be made in very high quality cast adhesive - with protective plastic coating against atmospheric agents and abrasions - to faithfully replicate the measurements and colours of the originals.
The Martini logo stickers are particularly valuable, made in the original dimensions and colors and with a mirror gold that does not fade, made using a screen printing process as in the era but with extremely high resistance, smooth to the touch (without steps between the colors) and without overlapping colors (bleeding).
Adhesive processing
All the graphics will be done entirely in adhesive, both for the technical sponsors and for the Martini livery , creating an accurate replica of the painted version.
For the decal livery, we use high-quality, conformable cast vinyl, applied using a heat process for extremely long-lasting durability. If the vehicle is sold, the decal graphics can be completely removed without damaging the original car body.
