LANCIA DELTA 16V SPORTLINE
Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v Sportline graphics (1991)
The complete restoration of this car's graphics includes the execution of the Martini livery and all the writings and logos present on the original car.
Curiosity
The Martini livery with which the Lancia Delta 16v competed in the world championships was developed and first applied to the car by PubbliMais at our historic headquarters in Turin, commissioned by Abarth.
In 1991, the Lancia team, for reasons related to sponsorship and bans on alcohol consumption in some countries, decided to replace the Martini logos with Sportline logos in Finland and Monte Carlo. Thus was born the Lancia Delta Martini Sportline Edition, also known as the "Millelaghi" after the Finnish Rally.
Paint processing
The Martini livery will be entirely painted like the original, with the same codified colors and painting methods of the time, further enhancing the car's authenticity.
The livery will not be applied to the bodywork using computerized templates, but rather through a manual process, hand-tracing all the graphic elements with tape. This results in a non-artificial and non-replicable aesthetic, with a handcrafted feel: each graphic reproduction will be unique. The Martini paintwork will be completed with a final gloss clear coat.
Technical sponsors, brands, and logos (Lancia, Sportline, Weber, Esso, Selenia, Fina, Speedline, SKF, Fiat Lubrificanti, Champion, Sparco, Bilstein, Brembo, TRW Sabelt, Steyr Puch, Magneti Marelli, Michelin, Carello, Turbo Garrett, Cecomp, Olio Fiat, etc.) will be produced using the highest-quality cast adhesive—with a protective lamination against atmospheric agents and abrasion—to faithfully replicate the dimensions and colors of the originals. They can also be printed in "vintage" mode for an effect reminiscent of screen printing and historic stickers. Even stickers that originally had a transparent background will be faithfully replicated.
Adhesive processing
All graphics will be entirely decal-based, both for the technical sponsors and the Martini livery, creating an accurate replica of the painted version.
The decal livery will use high-quality, conformable cast adhesive vinyl, applied using a heat-curved method for extremely long-lasting durability. This allows for application even on all rounded and curved body parts, grilles, and air intakes. If the car is sold, the decal graphics can be completely removed without damaging the original car body.
