If you've read Part One of this article, you know what we're referring to.
We're obviously referring to the "THE GOLDEN AGE OF RALLY" classic car exhibition, held at the MAUTO (Museo Nazionale dell' Automobile) in Turin, in collaboration with the Fondazione Gino Macaluso per l'Auto Storica. We at Pubbli Mais also contributed to this exhibition by carrying out many total or partial restorations of the graphics on the cars participating in the event.
HIGHLIGHTS AT MAUTO

Lancia Delta S4 Martini Rallye New Zealand 1986 Alen/Kivimaki

Fiat Abarth X1/9 Giro d'Italia Regazzoni/Macaluso

Lancia 037 Martini Gr. B Monte-Carlo Bettega/Perissinot

Fiat 131 Abarth in livrea Alitalia

Lancia Stratos Alitalia Monte-Carlo 1977 Pinto/Bernacchini

Lancia Fulvia Safari 1972 Lampione/Davenport
An exhibition of historic cars of the highest caliber, which we had the pleasure and honor of curating with regard to the aesthetics of the cars in relation to their liveries and sponsors. This commitment led us to delve into the past of national and international rallying, studying and researching the historic graphics of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s to be able to reconstruct the stickers of the era as faithfully as possible. These are stickers reproducing sponsors, brands, and writings that are not present in our Italian tradition, and original photographic material for which is very scarce. We were never discouraged and managed to reconstruct 99% of these stickers thanks to extensive research and a scrupulous study of hundreds of images from the era. The Foundation itself holds an important archive of books, images, and original historic pieces, and in cases of doubt, it was very useful to compare all the available material, knowing that it was more than necessary to do a good job since the cars in the collection would be photographed by thousands of people. Several model car enthusiasts in particular have already confessed to us that they will reconstruct their models entirely based on the cars we have restored, as have the designers and illustrators of various publishing houses. This exhibition will, in some ways, be a school and a historical and aesthetic reference for all those who love these cars. We are proud because a little bit of us will be present in all the works produced from the magnificent cars in this collection, and we sincerely hope that our collaboration with the Fondazione Gino Macaluso will continue for a long time to come. We are certain that this partnership will continue to achieve excellent results and further enhance the beauty of the world of classic car enthusiasts.
